Tommy Mouton
 
Tommy Mouton has spent the last three years at San José State as a creative writing fellow and a lecturer

Academic year 2013-2014, he was awarded a John Steinbeck Fellowship by the Martha Heasley Cox Center for Steinbeck Studies. His poetry and fiction appear in
Reed.

A dynamic dramatic reader, Tommy's work has been featured in venues hosted by KKUP 91.5 "Out of Our Minds" Poetry Radio, LitQuake, Flash Fiction Forum, Center for Literary Arts,
Peninsula Literary Series, Poetry Center San José, and a host of others.  What We Do Cherish, his latest unpublished novel, has been well-received in numerous workshop and reading venues and is excerpted in Callaloo's fall 2012 issue. He is currently seeking agent representation. 

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, raised in the community of Moss Bluff, Tommy currently lives in San José with his wife and daughters.
